Studio Sessions – a little info…

Studio Sessions

I love my studio shoots – such variety from each one and i get to meet such lovely famillies and kids/babies. During this busy Summer period, Saturdays are pretty much booked up until October now. So i mostly only have availability for weekdays but i can do evenings also if this suits you. I am also in the process of moving my studio – for the last time – i am soooo excited about this. I adore it – tiling is complete and painting is being finished and i should be moved before the end of Summer.

Here is a little information about my Sessions and what to expect…

Newborn Sessions

These sessions are best done under 2 weeks old, while baby is still so new and so sleepy. They are more easy to settle and sleep for longer, so i can get wee curled up images for you. The session lasts 2-3 hours, so plently of time for feeding – bring a dummy along if baby takes one or if you have bought one, as can be useful. I have many blankets, hats, hairbands, props but please feel free to bring any items along that you cherish or any props that have meaning – i have had motorcycles before, hamlets, musical instruments – you name it! It is your session so use it as you please. Family and other siblings can be included also at this session.

Please note as the session lasts 2-3 hours and the best time is under 2 weeks, booking in advance is recommended, so contact myself before baby arrives and i can provisionally pencil a few dates into the diary and we can confirm for sure once baby is here safe and your feeling yourself again.

Older than 2 weeks is equally as cute, i have had new babies up to 9 weeks, but they won’t sleep or curl up the same so please bare this in mind.

Family/Children Sessions

I have had every family combination in the studio you can think of – big groups of 20-30, Grandchildren, families with dogs and cats, twins, triplets – you name it! It is always a fabulous gift for someone special – a gift that will be cherished for years to come.

A family or child session lasts an hour, a change of clothes can be taken along, props and toys also. Snacks / water cup is always a good idea too! I mostly do the sessions in the studio, but if the weather is good outdoors is always gorgeous.

Engagement Sessions

Perfect to gain some practise before the big day – i aim to make you feel comfortable and mostly have fun! This lasts an hour and i do many poses – dogs or kids can be brought along also.

Cherub Sessions

This is a new portrait session, perfect for babies 6-9 months old, it is a great price and perfect for mummys as it is on a Thursday – before you go back to work! This is for 1 child and lasts 30 minutes in the studio – soft pastel outfits, bare tummys and wee vests look mega adorable for this session.

New Mother Offer

A popular package of mine that i have done for some families for all their kids as they reach each milestone.

You can choose from 3 sessions –  Maternity Session, Newborn, 6 Months, 8 Months or 12 Month session – perfect for babies 1st year, capture it all.

I love seeing your little one grow from the sleepiness of a newborn, to their cheeky personality at 8 months old to running around at 1 year.

Contact me for more information and prices on the package your interested in, each session includes a print and online gallery to view with protected password.

Most clients go for Wall Art after their session which starts at £250 (Montages, Canvas or Framed Products) or the USB which is £245 (40-150 images that you can print – big or small, print your own thankyou cards etc) or some buy gifts for family members for birthdays etc and these start at £15 each.

Gift Vouchers are the perfect gift – so why not hint to the hubby or your mother, or buy a granny a voucher and get all the grandchildren done!
