The day had arrived for Belfast girl Laura to marry her love from Australia Tim and the sun was shining – it felt like we were in Australia, such a heat wave, it really set the mood for the day. I was very excited about this wedding, as i have know Laura for the past 10 years or so, i felt honoured when she asked me to be her wedding photographer. I knew she would look stunning and she did – making my job SO easy. Everyone at this wedding were a delight, laughing the entire day.
There were many emotional moments throughout the day, which i love and those cufflinks “i loved her first” sum up the day!
I met the boys in Belfast city centre for a few before the service, they were shocked that in Northern Ireland they could not get any drink before 11am…boo – it would have made for some funky images at the Crown Bar.
On to the Church we go…
The beautiful country hotel, the Dunadry. I adore their choice of cars!!
Nothing like a classic Guinness photo!
I love all the wee details at weddings!
These girls were ready for a good time… don’t worry it was only water or shloer!
I love how Laura got up to speak, she kept it together so well. Today was full of much love, joy but also sadness as i know she misses her family SO much when she is back in OZ but they made so many amazing memories together while home for this wedding & their holiday/honeymoon. I wish you both so much happiness in life together from the bottom of my heart. Will have to meet up for a wee coffee when your next home. Congratulations again Mr & Mrs Groves.
